Steve E. Jordan, M.D.

Steve Jordan, M.D. received his Bachelor of Science degree from the College of Charleston and his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Jordan completed his Sports Medicine Fellowship at Kerlan-Jobe Orthopedic Clinic where he had the opportunity to work as team physician for the L.A Rams, L.A. Lakers, L.A. Dodgers, L.A. Kings, California Angels, and USC Trojans. Dr. Jordan currently serves as team physician for Florida State University as well as Tallahassee Community College, Chipola College, North Florida Junior College and several Big Bend High Schools.

David Ross
Atlanta Braves Catcher
Ross played high school ball at Florida High in
Tallahassee, Florida where he earned scholarships to play at the
University of Florida and Auburn. Ross was drafted in the 7th
round of the 1998 MLB draft by the LA Dodgers. David has spent nine seasons in the big leagues and currently is a catcher
with the Atlanta Braves.

Lorenzo Cain
Kansas City Royals Outfielder
Cain was drafted in the 17th round of the
2004 Major League Baseball Draft out of Tallahassee Community College. He
made his Major League debut in July of 2010 with the Milwaukee Brewers and
was recently traded to the Kansas City Royals for pitcher Zack Greinke and infielder Yuniesky
Betancourt.

Dean Palmer
Former Major
League All-Star
The Texas Rangers selected Palmer in the 3rd round of
the 1986 Major League Baseball Draft. Dean spent 14 total seasons in the
big leagues with the Texas Rangers, Detroit Tigers, and Kansas City
Royals. In 1998 Dean earned a spot on the
American League All-Star team and was also presented with the Silver Slugger Award as a
member of the Detroit Tigers.

Charlie Greene,
Jr.
Milwaukee Brewers
Catching Coordinator
Greene is the current field coordinator and roving
catching instructor for the Milwaukee Brewers organization. As a player,Greene was picked by
the San Diego Padres in the 19th round of the 1991 MLB Draft. He spent a
total of five seasons in the big leagues as a
catcher with the New York Mets, Baltimore Orioles, Milwaukee Brewers and
Toronto Blue Jays.

Mike Posey
Head Baseball
Coach, North Florida Christian School
Coach Posey
has been the varsity baseball coach at NFC since 1984 and his teams have
recorded 454 wins during that time. He has been named 2A Coach of the Year
in the state of Florida twice (1995, 2004). Coach Posey recently served as
the head coach for the north team in the recent Florida Coaches
Association All Star game played annually in Sebring ,
Florida at the conclusion of the season.

Hunter Abercrombie
Athletic Director, Suwannee High School
Abercrombie was born and raised in Live Oak, Florida. He was twice named first team All-State while playing at Suwannee High School. He played his first two years of college at TCC earning first team All-Conference honors after a sophomore season in which he went 8-0 and helped TCC to a Panhandle Conference title. After TCC, he played two years at Mercer University, compiling 14 total wins in his two seasons. After graduating Hunter returned to Live Oak where, in June of 2010, he was named Athletic Director at his alma mater, Suwannee High School.

Joe Vallese
Head Baseball Coach, Lincoln High School
Vallese has spent the last ten years as the head baseball coach at Lincoln High School in Tallahassee, Florida. During his tenure as head coach he has been a part of 3 district championships and numerous regional appearances. In 2004, Vallese’s Trojans finished runner-up in the Florida High School Class 5A State Championship.

Corey Simon
Former National Football League Player
Corey Simon, former defensive tackle of the Philadelphia Eagles, spent eight seasons in the National Football League. Simon was drafted by the Eagles as the sixth overall pick out of Florida State University. During his professional career Simon played in four NFC Championship games with the Eagles as well as Pro Bowl and Super Bowl in 2004. Before his retirement in 2007, Simon played with three NFL teams including the Tennessee Titans, Indianapolis Colts, and the Philadelphia Eagles.
